About Session
This session will cover different approaches and rationales for divesting from fossil fuel investments, with an emphasis on possible real world actions to take. We will examine different pros and cons of divestment and how each connects to Torah ideas. We will also explore the Torah concept about causing harm with one’s money and what obligations an individual might have to invest responsibly. Lastly, we will explore if there are different obligations on an individual versus a community.
