About Tamara Lev
Born and raised in the old city of Jerusalem, I graduated Law school from the Hebrew University, and PhD from Tel Aviv University School of Law. I then joined the Israeli Department of Justice and was responsible for environmental law and regulation, oil and gas regulation and related fields. 2 years ago, I joined the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel as Climate Policy Director. I have been teaching environmental law at Tel Aviv University since 2020, served as the board member of the Israel Society for Ecology and Environmental Sciences and am currently teaching fellow at BU.
