Roberta Catalinotto
ROBERTA CATALINOTTO: A few years ago a Limmud weekend retreat in Sonoma County, California had a profound impact on my life, so I’m beyond excited about being a member of the Limmud North America Board! Looking back on my 32-year career, I’m grateful that my work has enabled me to partner with great organizations, helping them to find the resources to advance their missions and/or to grow. I’ve led development operations for two national museums (the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum and the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum), three Jewish Federations (Orange County, California, Los Angeles and San Francisco), the Jewish Agency for Israel, and now at the environmental justice organization, Friends of the Urban Forest. Originally from New York City, I’ve also lived in Israel, Washington D.C., Southern California and for the last fifteen years, in the San Francisco Bay Area. My husband, Bernard, is a map publisher, and we have two married sons and two toddler grandchildren.
